Sam Oakes – Trainee Solicitor
Sam joined Compliance on Demand as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2023, after having completed his Legal Practice Course and an MSc in Law, Business and Management at the University of Law in Nottingham. Sam supports Philip on the entire range of regulatory compliance and financial crime support for our clients within the regulated funds, direct investment and advisory real estate sector.
Sam has a particular focus on Financial Crime laws and has supported our clients on complex anti-money laundering projects in relation to regulatory examinations for commercial real estate and law firm clients. Sam also assists clients with the Registration and Verification of Overseas Entities at Companies House and has worked on intellectual property matters. Sam also has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Leeds.
Outside of work, Sam is a Boxing, Formula 1, and food enthusiast.
